Cheese Care Guidelines
• Wrap cheese in clean cheese paper, beeswrap, or wax paper. Avoid plastic, as it can harm the cheese’s living nature and trap moisture.
• Take your cheese from the fridge 30 minutes to an hour before serving or cooking to let its best flavors shine.
• Always use clean and dry utensils to avoid adding any unwanted bacteria.
• Don’t worry if you spot some fuzzy friends, just cut them off and enjoy! But if your cheese smells bad, it’s best to toss it out.
• In the winter our air is a bit more dry, if you find your cheese drying out, add it to the humid vegetable drawer.
• In the summer, there may be an abundance of moisture in the air. Consider placing your cheese in the driest part of your fridge to increase longevity.
